ASICS Brings First-Ever META : Time : Trials to the Philippines
Cavite, Philippines (1 August 2025) – Following the global success of the debut of META : Time : Trials in Malaga, Spain in 2022 to the recent regional editions held in Malaysia and Thailand from 2022 to 2024, ASICS is proud to announce the inaugural edition of ASICS META : Time : Trials in Philippines!
Set for October 19, 2025, at Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub, this one-of-a-kind 10KM road race invites local and international runners of all levels to beat
their personal bests and celebrate the power of movement. Drawing inspiration from the stellar performances of Filipino athletes in the past regional trials-highlighted by Sonny Wagdos’ championship victory in 2024 and notable podium finishers by Richard Salaño and
Joida Gagnao.
The ASICS META : Time : Trials Philippines is a platform for all runners to achieve their running goals and to celebrate the transformative journey of surpassing barriers. Mr. Yogesh Gandhi, Managing Director of ASICS Asia, said, “Our vision has always been to expand the reach of the META : Time : Trials race across Southeast Asia. We are truly encouraged by the overwhelming support and enthusiasm from the past three editions held in Malaysia and Thailand. META : Time : Trials Philippines Registration officially launched last July 23, 2025, via Race Roster, with only 3,500 slots available across two categories:
● 10KM Invitational – a competitive wave for elite runners
● 10KM Open – a timed start for runners of all levels

Leading up to race day, the ASICS Running Club (ARC) which happens at ASICS Glorietta every Tuesday at 7pm and at ASICS SM Mall of Asia every Friday at 7pm, will offer structured training programs, expert guidance and showcase its latest running technology, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to personal progress and performance. The Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) will take place from October 15 to October 18, 2025, exclusively at the ASICS stores located in Glorietta, Mall of Asia, and SM North EDSA. THE METASPEED™ + TOKYO SERIES
The new series of METASPEED™ Tokyo Series represents the continuation of ASICS’ unique design philosophy which it first shared with the world with the launch of the original METASPEED™ SKY and METASPEED™ EDGE in 2021.
