Unleash Your Power: 5150 Triathlon Series Launches in the Freeport Area of Bataan Inaugural Olympic-Distance Race Set for November 16, 2025
Freeport Area of Bataan, Philippines – May 1, 2025 - The Sunrise Events Inc. is proud to announce the inaugural 5150 Triathlon Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB), set to take place on November 16, 2025. This new addition to the 5150 Triathlon Series marks the first time the globally recognized Olympic-distance race will be held in Bataan, bringing world-class triathlon action to one of the country’s most dynamic and emerging race destinations.
The 5150 FAB will offer participants a fierce yet scenic course, featuring a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run. Set against the backdrop of coastal roads, rolling hills, and the industrial energy of the Freeport Area, the course offers a challenging and rewarding race experience just three hours from Metro Manila.

The event will also feature the Sunrise Sprint, a beginner-friendly distance comprising a 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run, designed to encourage new triathletes and those looking for a fast, fun day out.
The 5150 FAB promises more than just racing. With accommodations, heritage, and adventure opportunities nearby, athletes can look forward to a full race-cation experience. Spectators and support crews can enjoy the historical sites of Bataan, explore its coastline, or simply cheer on from the sidelines.
