Now on it’s 6th year, Durianman Triathlon was initially a Standard Distance event with an easy course in Davao City. In the few years after, it became an event for all – kids, beginners, serious triathletes. In 2016, Durianman Triathlon transferred to the Island Garden City of Samal, introducing the cross channel swim leg. DURIANMAN has now been streamlined to cater to hardcore triathletes who are worthy of comparison to the King of Fruits – the Durian.

Finally, the athletes will run 10KM in an out-and-back course from Club Samal. With the summer sun up high, athletes will have to be prepared for the heat as portions of the course are unshaded.
