About the race
The Bloody Long Walk – Mornington Peninsula is a stunning 35 km endurance walking challenge that invites you to step outside your comfort zone and immerse yourself in Victoria’s coastal beauty. Starting at the historic Quarantine Station in Point Nepean National Park, this fully supported course threads together spectacular water views, sandy beachfronts and charming seaside towns as you make your way along the bay. Whether you’re walking with mates, pushing for a personal target, or soaking up the scenery at your own pace, this course is as visually rewarding as it is physically challenging.
More than just a walking event, The Bloody Long Walk supports the Mito Foundation’s mission to drive awareness, research and hope for families affected by mitochondrial disease — a meaningful reminder that every kilometre you walk contributes to something bigger than the challenge itself.
