About the race
The Great Ocean Road Running Festival is one of Australia’s most scenic running weekends, bringing runners from across the country to Victoria’s spectacular south-west coast on 16–17 May 2026. Over two days, participants can choose from a variety of distances from the epic 60 km Ultra and 44 km Marathon to the rewarding 23 km Half Marathon and shorter Paradise Run, 6 km and Kids Gallop events, all against the backdrop of the iconic Great Ocean Road and panoramic Southern Ocean views.
The festival is more than just a race: it’s a destination experience. Whether you’re chasing a personal challenge on the longer distances or enjoying a scenic shorter run with friends or family, the coastal landscapes and vibrant weekend atmosphere make this a standout event on the autumn racing calendar in Australia.
